Crank Seal Guard

Unfortuantely sometimes on  N54/N55/S55 platforms the serpentine belt fails and the belt has a decent chance of getting sucked behind the front damper, and then goes through the crank seal and into the engine. This leads to bad, bad things we shouldnt talk about. 
 
Even when good maintnenece schedules are followed, this can occur. The best way to bulletproof the engine is to install the crank seal gaurd. This part is cheap insurance for an engine that should last a long time otherwise.
