SLG Hardened Outer Toe Stud Kit – BMW E8X / E9X
When pushing BMW rear suspension hard on track, we’ve seen a common failure point: the OEM outer toe arm fastener. The factory bolt operates in a single-shear configuration, and after repeated abuse it can loosen, and eventually, fail entirely. Our new stud kit is compatible with our adjsutable toe arms for maximum track preperation to keep you on track.
Our Hardened Outer Toe Stud Kit replaces the bolt with an extremely strong hardened steel stud, creating a far more secure mounting point for the rear toe arm or tie rod. The stud stays fixed in the upright while the joint is secured with high-strength hardware, eliminating the tendency of the factory bolt to loosen during hard use.
Even better, the stud design allows the use of precision spacers to adjust bump steer, making it easy to dial in suspension geometry for track performance. This system provides both increased reliability and tunability, making it ideal for track cars, Time Attack builds, and aggressive street setups.
