Rather than replacing the entire engine loom with a custom standalone harness, this adapter lets you retain the OEM BMW wiring, connectors, sensors, electronic throttle system, and other factory engine hardware while gaining the tuning flexibility, data logging, engine protection, CAN communication, and motorsport strategies of the LINK G5 platform.
