8HP Oil Pan/Filter

The 8HP uses an extremely mass produced oil filter that is integrated into the oil pan. We recommend just using the plastic one we sell, it is high quality and we have no issues. We tried reasonable metal options and had them leak.   
 
All 8HP transmissions use the same oil filter. Compatible across all versions.
