E82/E92 Axle & Stub Upgrade

Ford 8.8 swap axles are specificaly designed to be used with our bracket kit. Using axles in another kit voids warranty as they may be out of proper operating rage (plunge depth measurement). Our kit is by far the best engineered on the market and is designed by OEM driveline engineers.

The all new SLG/G-Force axle kit is a cut above anything else on the market. The kits are a direct replacement for factory half-shafts or optioned to be matched for a 31-spline Ford 8.8 differential. They are designed for cars with everything from mild “bolt-ons” ripped on the street to those running big single turbos down clutch kicking around a banked oval.

 

The axles feature an upgraded 31-spline axle bar and 31-spline billet CV joints. The additional splines offer more spline engagement and allow for larger diameter axle bars equaling unparalleled strength.


In addition to more spline engagement, the billet 31-spline CV’s provide more travel and increased operating angle than OEM CV joints. They also provide a significant increase in wear characteristics and durability over standard 108mm CV’s commonly found in competitors axle upgrades.

The real key to the puzzle is the outer stub. They are machined from a single piece of billet steel, then heat treated, and finally e-coated for rust protection. Our stubs are definitely the strongest around! Our competitors re-use the factory outer CV, but we build from scratch for the ultimate solution that gets rid of the weakest link in the factory and our competitors axles- the outer CV joint.


In addition to increased strength, the axles feature anti-wheel hop technology. Originally brought to market by GM several years ago, our axles feature this same technology and offer a significant reduction in hop during hard launches. This helps your drivetrain last. 

The axles are hand built in the USA . We carefully control each process to assure the highest quality, hand-build each axle assembly and only use premium materials. Note: Depending on your ride height and/or if have an aftermarket or M3 rear sway bar, you may need adjustable sway bar links such as these to clear the larger and much stronger CV's that we use: Link Or, you can drill a second hole in the sway bar to raise it to clear the larger axle CV. this also is a cheap and easy mod that effectively stiffens the sway bar slightly, which is good thing for handling. All for 0$! This is also the best way to clear small drag racing wheels.

Each CV also receive an isotropic surface finish for a mirror like polish. Limited Lifetime Warranty
SLG backs all axles with a limited lifetime warranty. Warranty is limited to stubs and axle bars only. CV’s and CV boots are considered a wear-item and carry a limited 1-year warranty.
