Fluidampr Performance Harmonic Damper – BMW M50 / M52 / S50 / S52 / M52TU / M54
 
A modern harmonic damper upgrade for your BMW inline-six. The Fluidampr viscous damper controls harmful crankshaft torsional vibration throughout the RPM range, helping protect the crankshaft, bearings, and timing components.
 
An excellent addition to a turbocharged, high-RPM, or competition builds, with no damper tuning or rebuilding required as your engine combination changes.
 
Select Your Application
With 60-2 Crank Trigger Wheel: For OBD1 M50, S50, and M52 applications using the crank sensor mounted on the front timing cover, where the sensor reads the trigger wheel on the harmonic damper. Also suited to engine swaps or OBD1 conversions retaining this front-mounted sensor arrangement.
 
Without Crank Trigger Wheel: For OBD2 M52, S52, M52TU, and M54 applications using the block-mounted crank sensor, where an external trigger wheel on the damper is not required.
 
Important: Select the damper based on your crank sensor arrangement, especially on swapped or converted engines. A front-cover-mounted sensor requires the 60-2 trigger wheel.

Both versions include removable, stock-size 5.75" 6-rib inner and 5.00" 5-rib outer accessory pulleys. The outer pulley’s 3.20" bolt circle accommodates common dry-sump drive mandrels.
