The easiest and least intrusive way to add a true standalone hydraulic handbrake system to your BMW. Unlike an inline hydraulic handbrake, a dual-caliper setup keeps the factory rear braking system completely separate. This maintains consistent brake bias and pedal feel while giving the handbrake its own dedicated calipers.

Our system retains the factory primary brake calipers, rotors, and ABS sensors for completely normal brake operation.

Many competing kits rely heavily on the small factory dust-shield mounting points. Our brackets are designed to spread the load across stronger areas of the trailing arm and knuckle.
Each version is designed specifically for its matching BMW knuckle and uses additional machined surfaces and mounting points to reduce stress on the hardware. The result is one of the strongest dual-caliper systems available.
Vehicle and Caliper Fitment
E82 135i and E9X 335i versions are designed for:
- Wilwood GP320 four-piston calipers
- Factory rear brake rotors
- Factory ABS and wheel-speed sensors
When the optional Wilwood calipers are selected, the correct brake pads are included.
Select the correct vehicle version when ordering, as BMW used different rear hubs and rotors across the E8X and E9X platforms.
Optional Hydro Hose Kit
Complete the installation with our optional HEL Performance hydraulic hose kit. The kit eliminates the need to piece together generic hoses and fittings and is designed specifically for dual-caliper hydraulic handbrake installations.
Features include:
- HEL Performance stainless braided hoses
- Swivel fittings where possible for easier routing
- Custom bleeder-banjo fittings
- Lines for both rear secondary calipers
- Fittings for connecting to the handbrake master cylinder
The custom bleeder-banjo fittings keep the installation compact while maintaining a proper high-point bleeder location.
Add the optional calipers, included pads, HEL hose kit, and your choice of hydraulic handbrake for a nearly complete system.

Installation Requirements
Installation requires removal of:
- Factory rear dust shields
- Factory parking-brake shoes and hardware
Installation does not require removal of:
- Rear axle
- Wheel hub
- Wheel bearing
- ABS sensor
Install Instructions
Install notes:
- Remove caliper and rotor.
- Remove factory e-brake shoes, mechanisms, and cables. May be necessary to cut cables and punch it out of the trailing arm from the backside.
- Unbolt the dust shield and cut it, so you are able to bend it around the hub and remove it from the vehicle.
- Clean the trailing arm to remove rust and uneven surfaces.
- Bolt up the billet bracket to the trailing arm, using blue Loctite on the ARP hardware.
- Install the 10mm allen head screw into the bracket from the backside of the trailing arm, through the factory e-brake cable hole.
- Install brake rotor
- Reinstall primary caliper in factory location, and install secondary caliper to the bracket.
- Do mad skids!
