BMW Oil Level/Temp Sensor Module
An easy way to retain communication with BMW components that use the factory BSD communication protocol when running a MaxxECU standalone ECU. This is most electronic BMW oil level sensors. Early models were level only, and later, N52 and beyond, used sensors in both locations.
The MaxxECU BMW BSD Communication Board – PN 2134 allows MaxxECU to communicate with supported BMW BSD devices, making it especially useful for BMW engine swaps and standalone ECU conversions where you want to retain factory-style functionality.
The BSD board supports:
- Oil level sensor
- Oil temperature when using the supported BMW oil level/temp sensor
- Alternator control
- Integration directly into the MaxxECU system via presets
The board connects to DIN 3 / GPO 7 along with a standard GPO ground output for communication.
