SLG Simple Dodge Transmission Mount Kit

A simple, strong, and affordable solution for mounting a Dodge 8HP transmission in nearly any swap application. Designed for our shop cars, which all use the Dodge 70 based transmissions, this adjustable transmission mount eliminates unnecessary complexity while providing the flexibility needed to properly position your drivetrain.
 
Manufactured from laser-cut steel with a corrosion-resistant zinc coating, the mount features multiple mounting positions to adjust transmission height, helping you achieve proper driveline angles without complicated mounting hardware or excessive fabrication.
 
Designed with versatility in mind, the bracket supports traditional GM-style transmission bushings commonly used in classic muscle cars, hot rods, and custom builds. Additional dual mounting slots also accommodate the angled transmission mounts commonly found on BMW crossmembers, making this a great option for European swaps as well.
 
We use this very mount in our own BMW E46 and BMW 1M, both equipped with Dodge 8HP70 transmissions.
 
Transmission Compatibility
Two bracket versions are available to accommodate the different rear mounting configurations used on Dodge 8HP RWD transmissions:
Dodge Charger / Challenger / Chrysler 300 – For compatible passenger-car 8HP transmission housings.
Dodge RAM 1500 (2WD) – For compatible rear-wheel-drive RAM 8HP transmission housings.
 
Optional Polyurethane Mount
An optional GM-style polyurethane transmission bushing is available for customers using traditional American-style transmission crossmembers or fabricating a custom mounting solution.
This common mounting style is widely used in GM applications, classic muscle cars, hot rods, and custom builds.
