The 8HP is an amazing transmission, but an annoying part of having one is being stuck in Park unless you have the engine on to build hydraulic pressure to hold the parking pawl up. This makes pushing cars around the shop, loading onto trailers, alignments, and towing the car in emergencies a big pain with the drive wheels locked when the engine is off. The factory gives you a pull handle under the shifter trim, but this is almost never able to be integrated into aftermarket builds. 
 
However, now there is an option from us at SLG. Very similar to our popular DCT Park Lock Kit, we now offer a Dodge 8HP Park Release Kit. It is compatible with Dodge Challenger/Charger/300 8HP70 and 8HP90 transmissions. This allows you to manually lift the parking pawl so you can essentially put your car into neutral whenever you like when the engine is off. This is super useful in many instances. Most customers mount the pull handle under their seat or on the transmission tunnel for easy access. 
 
The kit is made from laser cut and CNC bent steel. The handle and bracket portion is powdercoated black, and the transmission bracket and lever is black zinc coated. Includes everything you need to install the kit.
