The Speedsty PNP MaxxECU jumper harness is designed to connect compatible BMW E8X, E9X, and E60 chassis originally equipped with N52 or N54 engines to the MaxxECU LS engine harness with very little additional wiring required.
Instead of modifying the factory chassis wiring, this harness acts as the interface between the BMW chassis and the MaxxECU LS harness.
What Does It Handle?
The jumper harness provides the MaxxECU engine harness with the chassis-side connections required for functions including:
- ECU power
- Ignition power/signals
- Accelerator pedal
- Starter control
- Brake pedal signal
- Cooling fan control
- ECU box fan
This allows you to retain the factory BMW chassis wiring while dramatically simplifying the electrical side of your LS swap.
03/2007+ Chassis
Harnesses for 03/2007 and newer vehicles include an Ignition / Brake Signal Amplifier Board.
This helps prevent issues caused by weak BMW 15WUP ignition signals and brake pedal signals that may otherwise be insufficient for reliable operation with the standalone ECU.
