CAT Cams Solid Lifter Camshaft Upgrade Kit – M52TU / M54
 
This is a complete camshaft upgrade kit designed to dramatically raise the RPM capability and power potential of your BMW M52TU or M54 engine. Manufactured by CAT Cams from billet steel, these are high-lift race camshafts intended for solid lifters with a VANOS delete, making them ideal for dedicated track or competition engines.
 
Kit Includes:
CAT Cams billet steel camshafts (intake & exhaust)
VANOS delete hardware
Cam sprockets
DLC-coated Supertech solid lifters
Custom-machined cam ledges that allow lifter removal from the top of the head, greatly simplifying valve lash adjustments
 
Cam Specifications:
Duration @ 0.1mm: 290° intake / 282° exhaust
Lift: 12.0mm intake / 11.5mm exhaust
Lobe separation angle: 106°

These cams were custom ordered with guidance from Mino at Achilles Motorsports and deliver exceptional track performance. In our testing, they produced over 225 wheel horsepower through a DCT on a 2.5L engine, revving reliably to 8600 RPM. Power potential is even higher when paired with a 3.0L engine.
